Time flies, and this is already the second I-1 tournament. This time I have inputted much more efforts than I did last year. All I-1 participants are carefully selected world-class fighters.

Many people ask me: “Master Kim, why are you making life so hard for yourself? Why are you so fuzzy?”

My answer is very simple. It is just I-1 is aimed to create a new era for the sport of Muay Thai and I want I-1 to be perfect. I have to make sure to show creativity in the production of I-1, and all matches in I-1 are exciting and entertaining.

The sport of Muay Thai in Hong Kong is developing in a very encouraging paste. The number of Muay Thai fans is increasing and the local fighters are improving every day. Recently, the Hong Kong Muay Thai team has achieved amazingly outstanding records in the IFMA World Muay Thai Amateur Championship. I believe we don't have to wait too long to see Muay Thai authorized as an official event in Olympic Games where Hong Kong's Muay Thai artists will make us proud again.

Commercial sponsorships play a very important role in the development in all sports events. With the supports from commercial sponsors, organizers can further develop their sports events and organize sizeable tournaments.

On the other hand, sports always give you impressions of motivity, health and superiority. Hence they have the potential to repute the sponsors. In this way, sponsors and sports organizers can benefit from each other, and we can capitalize our efforts.

Match of the Champions” in October 2004 and “Kings of Invincibility” in June 2005 have reflected Master Kim’s will to insert new elements to Muay Thai matches and bring high quality of entertainments and excitements to the audiences. Being aware that Hong Kong is a multi-cultural international metropolis that has inherited China’s martial arts culture and has absorbed the essence of modern body combat, Master Kim thereafter decides to bring in a revolution for the sport and goes on his project of Muay Thai by promoting “I-1 World Muay Thai Grand Prix” and invites outstanding boxers from all over the world to participate, hoping to build up a reputation of “International Metropolis of Martial Arts” for Hong Kong.

“I-1 World Muay Thai Grand Prix” is a brand new phenomenon in Hong Kong for Muay Thai competition because it is refreshingly different from the traditional Muay Thai programs. It is utilized as an emblem of new Muay Thai phenomenon.

Kim Ip Productoion House was developed under the support of the presidents of Kim Ip Thai Boxing club.

The production house plays the role in organizing Muay Thai events annually, to enrich the competitiveness of Hong Kong athletes and the image of the sport of Muay Thai, to promote anti-drug-abuse messages, and to lead youngsters to select their right hobbies.
